Slow Baked Chilichup Rubbed Ribs

Slow Baked Chilichup Rubbed Ribs

Ingredients

  • 1 rack baby back ribs
  • 50g Chillichup or shut up rub

The Method

1. Preheat your oven to 250ºC

2. Prepare the ribs. Most racks have a tough membrane, across the back side of the ribs. Use a spoon handle to loosen this membrane and peel it off.

3 Add the rub to a metal bowl with the ribs and to coat both sides of the ribs well. Position the racks in a large baking pan. Leave to marinade for 30 min

4. Cook for 15 minutes then, without opening the oven, reduce the oven temperature to 150ºC and continue baking until the meat is nicely browned, about 3 hours or so. Serve and share with Chillichup, hot hot Chillichup or for the brave shut up chup.
