Its My first time at the Gin and Chilli Festival but i am expecting great things. With live music, food from all over the world, chilli and hot food competitions, activitys and gin master classes as well as a great selection of Chilli Traders so you can pick up all of your favourite small producer goodies. We are delighted to be back at the Stock Gaylard Estate on 2nd & 3rd August 2025. We'll have another great weekend for chilli enthusiasts, food lovers and families. We're lining up a glorious weekend of “chilli fiesta”, with stalls selling all things chilli, from pepper plants to cayenne condiments; seeds to ceramics; artisan food producers; music; chilli eating competitions; spicy street food; local ice creams to cool the mouth; local beers to slake the thirst. We have some of the most dedicated independent chilli sauce manufacturers and retailers attending and some of the country’s best specialist chilli growers to showcase their plants and seeds to visitors at what will surely be 2025's hottest event in Dorset. The development of the Dorset Naga, at one time reputed to be the world’s hottest chilli, has really put Dorset on the map for chilli enthusiasts. Come and join us at this fun, friendly festival!

Started in 2006 the Chilli Festival is a hugely popular family event attracting thousands of visitors over three days, offering a chance to buy chilli plants, products and sample foods from around the world. Stalls are set up throughout the garden and a wide range of refreshments is provided to help you cool down, including cold beers and ice creams. The Ultimate Chilli Experience Turn up the heat at our annual Chilli festival taking place in the beautiful surroundings of the Aviary and Pleasure gardens. Throughout the three days explore food and drink stalls and the shopping village and enjoy live music and family entertainment.

In 1998 the town was home to the largest calf market in Europe and a Creamery which made award winning cheese. Sadly the market was closed, that site is now home to The Exchange, our arts, entertainment & business venue and community hub. The community decided that the Town needed something which reflected our market heritage and showcasing our award winning cheese and so the Cheese Festival was born, the first event taking place in 1999. a fun filled day out for the whole family this event is a must attend. With food, drink, crafts, music and entertainment there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.

The Annual Blackthorn Trust Advent Fair is a great day out for all the family. food music festive workshops and much much more. This will be my 3rd year at this wonderful event and i am already looking forward to it. See you there for a warm drink and some festive cheer.
